We are shifting the name from Skeleton Plans to Instructional Blueprints to better reflect our
purpose and mindset. While “skeleton” implies something bare or lifeless, “blueprint” conveys intentional design—a living plan for building something meaningful. This change aligns with our belief that instruction should be thoughtfully constructed, not just minimally structured. The new name signals our commitment to purposeful planning that brings student learning to life.
All four content areas now follow the same format of plan. The new blueprint design features many of the same core components you're used to, but with an added explicit emphasis on SPED and ML supports. Additionally, the blueprints are arranged in alignment with Lexington Two's Instructional Framework. A picture of a blueprint layout is below.
